Marc Winniford is the Chief Financial Officer of MoneyGram, where he oversees the company’s global finance organization, including treasury, financial planning and analysis, accounting and tax. Appointed in February 2026, Marc drives MoneyGram’s ongoing finance transformation and plays a key role in executing the company’s overall operational and strategic direction.

A veteran of the financial services industry with over 20 years of experience, Marc previously served as CFO of Corporate & Investment Banking at Wells Fargo. In that role, he led all finance activities for one of the bank’s four primary business segments, managing over $19 billion in revenue and a $700 billion balance sheet while driving initiatives to accelerate growth. During his 17-year tenure at Wells Fargo, Marc held several senior leadership roles, including Head of Corporate Finance and FP&A, Assistant Treasurer and Head of Corporate Development.

Marc also spent five years in investment banking at Lazard, where he was a Director in the Financial Institutions Group. He advised on M&A, strategy, capital raising and IPOs across a range of sectors, including banks, fintech, payments, insurance and asset management.

Marc holds a B.S. with Honors in Mathematics and Economics from Duke University, where he captained the varsity Track & Field team.
