Francisco Lorca is a global technology entrepreneur, public and private board director, Fortune 500 executive and investor with deep experience in payments, fintech, cybersecurity, strategy and digital transformation. Lorca has been on the Board of MoneyGram since 2021, providing oversight and counsel to the leadership team to help navigate the organizational and cultural transformation to become a digital-focused company. He has also served as a board director on privately held First Data Ibérica, OmniPay, BNP AXEPTA, and Encorus AG, as well as in several fast-growth start-ups.
Lorca is the founder and CEO of EthosData, a London-based SaaS provider of data room services for M&A transactions serving global investment banks, law firms and companies in India, Europe and the Americas. Previously, Lorca was Chief Strategy Officer for First Data International working with the CEO and other executive officers to grow the business from $600MM to $1.1B in revenue before the acquisition of the company in 2007.
Prior to his tenure at First Data, Lorca led the build-up of Teknoland (an internet consultancy) and its sale to Terra. Earlier in his career, Lorca served as a consultant at McKinsey and Company in Spain, Portugal, Belgium and the U.K. He also worked in GE Capital’s M&A team where he was responsible for sourcing and executing acquisitions throughout Europe. Lorca is also a co-founder of Aristeia Press, an independent publisher of fiction and non-fiction literature, and a member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association.
