Chris Trendler is a leadership advisor and private equity executive with deep expertise in talent strategy, CEO succession, and organizational effectiveness. He is a founding partner of Pendra Group, a firm that supports private equity investors and management teams across the investment lifecycle.

Previously, Chris was a Managing Director - Head of Portfolio Talent at Madison Dearborn Partners, where he led the firm’s talent strategy across its portfolio. He continues to serve as an Operating Executive with the firm today.

Earlier in his career, Chris was a partner at ghSMART, and held leadership and strategy roles at McKinsey & Company. He began his career in law and public policy. 

Chris holds a BA from Brigham Young University and a JD from the University of Chicago Law School.
